Just Another Day (Without You) (from Life Through Loss) — Sheet Music PDF
Sometimes a grief makes itself felt in quiet, everyday ways. When I first wrote Just Another Day (Without You), I pictured being woken gently by the sun, and the realisation of loss dawning slowly. With the advantage of a bit of time, I've realised that the piece is about an old grief, one whose intensity has faded, but which resurfaces unexpectedly in lonely moments. These moments are familiar to anyone who has grieved for a long time. It fades but it never truly goes away.
